He performs both tissue based and implant based breast reconstruction. Advanced tissue based reconstructions he performs include DIEP, SIEA, SCAP, TRAM, LD, & LIFT flap procedures. He offers above the muscle tissue expander and direct-to-implant breast reconstruction, and helps provide nipple sparing mastectomy options. For women undergoing lumpectomy, Dr. Howard can provide oncoplastic procedures, such as breast reduction or breast lift techniques to improve oncologic and aesthetic outcomes in breast cancer care. He has over a decade long career using innovative techniques in restoring patients marred by cancer, trauma, or wounds. He strives to normalize form and function, and help patients move beyond their cancer, injuries, or wounds. Procedures offered include limb salvage and repairs after skin cancer/Mohs surgery.
